Fire Preparedness

The fire season is on its way and Pinetop-Lakeside already has Stage 1 Fire Restrictions in place. After the fire disasters in California in the last few years, it is clear we must be prepared. 

 

Remember that we are a Firewise Certified Community. At this time, being certified does not impact things like community and homeowner insurance costs. However, Firewise communities do receive preferential treatment from firefighters because they know Firewise Certified Communities are the most likely to be saved in a wildfire.
